FREE RANGE BEEF - If you are concerned about the quality of meat you purchase in the grocery store, consider purchasing free range beef which has not been injected with hormones and antibiotics. We raise a small herd of cross bred calves for nine to twelve months. They are then fed a ration of personally selected grains for approximately 60 days before they are ready for market. Contact us for price. We can help you arrange for slaughter, cut and wrap - ready for the freezer.

BLACK WELSH MOUNTAIN SHEEP - We have a small herd of BWM sheep that we raise on our farm. We sell lambs or for slaughter. Raw wool is also available. Some facts about BWM Sheep - They are small black sheep with no wool on their face or legs below the knee and hock. Rams are typically horned and the females are hornless. Wool and meat are both premium quality. They do well in a urban setting, are great for weed control and make good pets. Wool is fine, soft and densely stapled. It can be used undyed for many clothes and combines well with other wools. Meat is close grain, light boned with a favorable meat to bone ratio. Small popular cuts are full of succulent lean meat with a minimum of wasteful fat. Finished lambs average 30-38 lbs. carcass weight. Lambing is seasonal usually takes place from February - April.
